Many
HE&M Saw owners started out in business with a “500” or
“750” model saw. Hundreds
of these machines are still plugging away, but alas, we don’t build
them any more. The
last 500 saw was built about a dozen years ago.
The last H75 came off the assembly line early in 1993. For
more than a year the smallest and most economical saw HE&M Saw was
the H100 and its bigger brother the automatic H101A.
While other HE&M Saws got larger and more complex, some
customers kept telling us “smaller” and “simpler”. “Smaller”
was not a direction that we wanted to go.
After all, HE&M Saw has created more new machines and
technological advances than any other band saw manufacturer.
The HE&M Saw President Jerry Harris remembered that the
customer is always right, so we took their advice and developed the
H90A.
This
rugged little saw is based on the H100 saw and combines it with the
trusty, reliable, and accurate “seven-fifty” bar feed. The
H90A has a one-inch blade, three-horse motor, and has a cutting
capacity of 12.75” by 12.75”.
The feed has the standard 24-inch stroke. The standard control is the proven HE&M Saw
“Bi-Function”.
Other options include a
two-foot solid discharge table and 5, 10, and 20-foot roller
tables to assisit loading or off-loading.
The H90A would be a perfect machine for a small job shop or, if your
operation is running at full capacity, as a reliable, economical, and
accurate production saw. The H90A comes with a complete,
well-documented owner’s manual and an installation video.
