If you ask
Jeff Hager about HE&M Saws, he won’t say, “Been there.
Done that.”
. . .But he has.
The
mild mannered Hager is HE&M Saw’s Senior Field Technician
with more than twenty-one years of experience in the installation
and maintenance of band saws. He came to work for HE&M Saw
in December 1985. Although
he’s based in California, Hager sometimes travels across the
nation to install new machines and to troubleshoot others.
He also sets up saws for trade shows.
He recently installed an 84,000 lb. plate saw for a
customer in California.
Because
Jeff has been working the West Coast for so long, HE&M Saw
customers ask for Jeff by name if they are having problems.
He has exceptional skills and experience with saws, but
also is able to cultivate and maintain outstanding relationships
with his customers. Jeff
knows saws, blades, steel, and people and is well able to
determine what solution works best for a given combination of
problems.
Hager
is also chief technical trainer for HE&M Saw; teaching saw
maintenance, cutting practices, and application procedures for
other HE&M field servicemen, as well as dealer and
distributor technicians.
Jeff
and his wife Cathy live in Oak Hills, California.
They have three children.
