HE&M Saw announces the
debut of the new Twister Automatic production band saw.
“We’ve combined the mitering capability of the popular
Twister with an automatic bar feed feature for multiple indexing
capability,” said Doug Harris, HE&M Saw Vice President.
The Twister Automatic extends the capabilities of the popular
Twister Manual saw introduced last year.
Both deliver HE&M Saw’s accuracy, high production
capacity, and reliability into a smaller footprint for applications
where space is limited.
The
Twister Automatic maintains the original Twister’s wide cutting
capacity of up to 14 inches by 20 inches, miters up 60°,
and picks up where the Manual Twister leaves off by automatically
cutting lengths of up to 240 inches, feeding the cutting stock in
preset lengths and turning off when the job is finished.
Like
all HE&M Saws, the new American-made Twister Automatic is designed
to save maintenance costs by using several common parts readily
available in local parts stores.
