This September, we’re proud to feature Jonathan Moore in our Employee Spotlight! He has been a part of the HE&M Saw family since 2011, and his contributions over the years have made a lasting impact—especially in his current role as Carbide Specialist.

In his role, Jonathan handles tasks like pasting, grinding, soldering, and sandblasting carbides. His two decades of soldering experience before joining HE&M Saw were a big part of what made him the perfect fit for this position.

When asked about his favorite part of working here, he points to the strong sense of community among his coworkers. He truly values the friendships he’s built over the years and appreciates the great conversations shared during the workday.

One of his proudest accomplishments is the consistent work he produces in the carbide room. He takes pride in his attention to detail, often completing tasks with little to no need for rework—a remarkable achievement that speaks volumes about his knowledge and dedication.

Outside of work, Jonathan leads a life full of music, family, and curiosity. He loves playing music, especially jamming with his two oldest sons. He’s a proud supporter at his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and enjoys winding down in the evenings catching up on reality TV—shows he claims to watch because of his wife, though he secretly enjoys them just as much! A man of many interests, he is also a fan of Bigfoot tales, alien theories, and podcasts, as he is always eager to dive into the unknown and learn something new

Fun Fact: He has never missed a single year of Rocklahoma since it began in 2007! Now that’s commitment to the music he loves.
