Employee Spotlight !!! – Patsy Dohmen
July 25, 2025Honoring Patsy Dohmen, HE&M Serice Coordinator, with 29 years of experience at HE&M Saw
This month, we’re proud to spotlight someone whose dedication, knowledge, and spirit have become an essential part of HE&M Saw — Patsy Dohmen, our Service Coordinator.
Patsy has been with HE&M Saw for nearly 29 years, officially celebrating that milestone this September. Her journey here started in a temporary role — painting bathrooms, striping yellow safety lines, and pitching in wherever help was needed. Not long after, she was hired on full time and began her career in part picking, shipping parts, and striping saws. Over time, she also inspected welds and paint jobs, worked briefly in customer service for parts, and eventually stepped into the vital role she holds today: coordinating our service department.
As Service Coordinator, Patsy is the one behind the scenes keeping everything running smoothly. She schedules our service technicians for paid service calls, installations, and warranty service. She also handles special part orders, provides service quotes, and processes service orders for inventory — all with a focus on customer satisfaction.
When asked what she’s most proud of, Patsy points to the path she’s taken through multiple departments — each one adding to her knowledge and helping her grow. That experience taught her a key lesson: it takes every department and every employee working together to reach our goals.
Her favorite part of working at HE&M? The people. And while she might be known for being tough on the job, she’s also quick to crack a joke, share a laugh, and (she admits) might even be slightly soft-hearted.
Outside of work, Patsy is all about family and the outdoors. She enjoys time in her garden, watching hummingbirds, tending to flowers, and doing yard work. Some of her favorite memories include trips with her seven sisters — especially to Eureka Springs and Branson. She also treasures time spent with her husband Joel, her kids, her grandbabies, and, of course, her beloved dog. For Patsy, nothing beats a peaceful, welcoming home surrounded by the people (and pets) she loves.
Patsy, thank you for nearly three decades of service, hard work, and heart. We’re lucky to have you!
