Sam's Garage

Sam’s Garage TV show is broadcast on MotorTrend, Mav, and Rev’n television channels and active on social media via Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and on their own YouTube channel. Hosted by Master Mechanic Sam Mahdavi, who is engaged on each show with diagnosing common problems for your vehicle all the way to completing full restorations, Sam’s Garage shares with its viewers the proper techniques to get the job done right. In recent years HE&M Saw CEO/President Doug Harris has appeared in each episode, completing restoration of a 1954 Hudson Hornet and updating an Alpha One GTO. In 2022 Doug and Sam started work on a 1957 Thunderbird and are fitting it with a Ford Coyote motor, custom built frame, and updated suspension and brakes.

Hudson Hornet Project

The first two years of HE&M Saw’s partnership with Sam’s garage saw Sam Mahdavi and Doug Harris restore Doug’s father and HE&M Saw Founder, Gerald Harris’s 1954 Hudson Hornet. The complete restoration brought the car back to its original condition; no fuel injection, LS motor or air-ride suspension for this “legend”.

Alpha One GTO

The second project Sam and Doug worked on together was to complete a build on a rare Alpha One 250 GTO. This is a Ferrari 250 GTO replica, and is now powered by a high performance 302 Ford motor, once owned by Doug Harris’ brother, Bill Harris.
